How about this? We stop eating meat. Win, Win. Animals don’t have to endure the hell of factory farming and we use the huge surpluses of grain to feed ourselves.

The (Vegan) Secrets of Small Towns: Viriginian Goodies Save Lives

I caught a train down to Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend to visit family. The city quickly stole my heart with its lively pedestrian mall, old Southern architecture, raw wilderness, and vibrant Farmers Market — imagine a town modeled after the less-embarrassing aspects of Stuff White People Like.

Vegan? What do you eat?

My great friends J. Colby Smith and Mia Keller have launched a blog to answer a question commonly asked of us rabbit-foodies: What do you eat?

The Tumblelog features mouth-watering photos of purely-plant-based dishes, accompanied by recipes or restaurant referrals. And, Colby and Mia want to include foods from around the world, so you’re invited to lend your photos, recipes and palettes to the cause!

Whether you’re a vegan warrior battling to find that latest vegan cheeze — go Daiya! — or a curious carnivore, What Vegans Eat will have you droolin’.
